April Fools Update!

I am literally soooooooo sorry that I haven't posted in ages.

Anyways, recently it has been april fools day. Minecraft came up with an update for april fools day! Its really hilarious and I always look forward to these updates each year!

This year, minecraft came with the update where the whole minecraft world is 'love' theme.

The clouds are heart shaped!

                     

The water has hearts coming out of it!

Snow in the desert?

Horses can be put on your heads!

Creepers are soooo adorable!

You can only have one world.

And finally, theres heart swords!!!!!!

This is really awesome, and I hope mojang keep minecraft like this forever!

Whats Happened To PinkCraft?

Hello Everyone!

Long time no see! Sorry I haven't posted in like a year :( I was super busy with family & holidays!

But my new years resolution is to eat more healthy & post every Sunday for The Crafters! YAYYY!

Anyway, about PinkCraft...
Unfortunately, there will be no more PinkCraft, as the world keeps on glitching & going nuts!

I will still update you all on my survival world, but it recently has gotten too much for me... sorry to all of the viewers of PinkCraft! :(

But...
I will upload videos of me playing games on servers by myself, or with friends, every Sunday! :)

Hi everybody, this is my first post so I thought I'd do a little bit of redstone. This slideshow shows you how to build a machine that keeps it daytime 24/7. You will need the following:

Hey guys,

So the time has come for me to show you the finale for my houses chain, my mystery house! (Which I know you've all been hanging out for ! XD) Okay, so my mystery house is based on an image of a really cool house I found on the internet. I based it on this, but then I sort of took it further, and made it a Shinekiwi style house! (Kind of...) I designed a few things myself, such as the fence, the cars and some of the animal pens. Here is the image of the house I based it on:

You like it? I did. So anyway, the moment you've all been waiting for; the presentation of my mystery house!

Shinekiwi's Super Awesome Things to Build - House Number 6!

Hey guys,

Here is my sixth house, sorry it isn't my mystery one, that post will follow, it's just I forgot to post this house! This is my survival house I did with a fellow minecrafter - kingzrule! We spent a while on this one, and we are both quite proud of it, as it's pretty good for a survival house! This powerpoint is pretty cool, because *kingz helped to make it!

What do I love about 1.8

Hi guys,

Here are 5 things I love about 1.8 in no particular order.

1. Doors are now stackable. This may seem silly but you don't know how handy this really is.

2. MUTTON!!!!!!!!

3. Banners. OMG these are so cool (Will post some more things you can do with banners).

4. Different Fences. When building a jungle house you don't know how good it looks doing the type of wood.

5. Different doors. These doors all look different giving you more options on how your place looks.

Of course I love everything but those are my faves. Sorry My surprise will be held back a bit. I need to 1.8 it. Comment your 5 fave things about 1.8 below.

Shinekiwi's Quick Tip of the Week

Hey guys,

So the new update is out - 1.8 - YAY!!! Pretty exciting huh?! Well anyway, I'm still working on my mystery house for you guys, so here is my quick tip of the week, and it's great for you slightly lazier minecrafters out there:

Use a night vision potion so you don't have to set the time! ;)

This is great because you can just drink a potion that lasts for 8 minutes, and then you don't have to keep resetting the time - especially if you're building - because I know that that can be really annoying.

CutieKiwi's Creative- Tips and Tricks

Hi Minecrafters,

I haven't been doing much building lately (*gasp!*), so I've chosen my favourite two Tips and Tricks to share with you! :)

Tip: Plot Out The Size
When building in Creative, make sure to plot out the size of a build before actually building. If building in a normal (non-superflat) world or on a server, there may be other landmarks or builds, so make sure to build according to space size. This will also determine the scale of your build.

Trick: Command Blocks!
Command Blocks are one of my favourite blocks, although one of the lesser known ones. To sum it up, a command block is like the chat bar's command ability, but in block form. The command block is mainly overlooked because it isn't easy to get it. You have to have cheats on and go /give command_block or /give 64 137. The command block really is an awesome block and can be used for many things.

CutieKiwi's Creative- Terraforming!

Hey Minecrafters!

Over the past few weeks, I've been working on this to go with my new Elsa castle, and I've now completed it! :) This is a giant mountain made of snow and stone blocks. This is called terraforming (when you build terrain) and is one of the hardest/ most tedious types of building, but is very satisfying when it's finished! XD

I built it with no W.E. (World Edit) however, many terraformers do use W.E. for this kind of thing. Here's a photopeach of the photos I've taken. I've also added some more pictures of terraforming, but I think these used W.E.

CutieKiwi's Creative- Three Top Tips!

Heyo Minecrafters! :)

Today I'm going to be telling you my three top tips for creating an EPIC creative building, terrain or anything in general. Let's get started!

3. ALWAYS plan interior first. No matter what you're building, interior always needs to be designed first because the size depends on the detail. Sometimes, I haven't been able to get enough detail with already created blocks, so I make it giant scale! :)

2. Remember the sponge! Okay, so the Sponge is an often overlooked block, but one the wields great power! Sponge will clear areas of water. This may not work on singleplayer or some multiplayers, I haven't tried it, but I know it works on Mikeland! :P

Bow Down In Its Brilliance!

1. Find Inspiration! I cannot say this one enough. Most of my builds are inspired by the last book I read, my favourite movie (a lot of builds on this one! XD), even a build from another player! I made a smiley face out of two circles! XD
