Shinekiwi's Quick Tips: Try Hive MC -- Deathrun!

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven't posted in AGES - I've been really busy. I just have time for a quick post, so what I wanted to say was, if you haven't tried the game Deathrun on Hive MC, you definitely should!
The IP address is play.hivemc.com, and Deathrun is kind of like a long version of a weird parkour. If you are a runner, then you have to run through all these traps that deaths can set off by pressing the button.

So give Deathrun a try! It's one of my favourite games.

Whats Happened To PinkCraft?

Hello Everyone!

Long time no see! Sorry I haven't posted in like a year :( I was super busy with family & holidays!

But my new years resolution is to eat more healthy & post every Sunday for The Crafters! YAYYY!

Anyway, about PinkCraft...
Unfortunately, there will be no more PinkCraft, as the world keeps on glitching & going nuts!

I will still update you all on my survival world, but it recently has gotten too much for me... sorry to all of the viewers of PinkCraft! :(

But...
I will upload videos of me playing games on servers by myself, or with friends, every Sunday! :)

CutieKiwi's Creative- Terraforming!

Hey Minecrafters!

Over the past few weeks, I've been working on this to go with my new Elsa castle, and I've now completed it! :) This is a giant mountain made of snow and stone blocks. This is called terraforming (when you build terrain) and is one of the hardest/ most tedious types of building, but is very satisfying when it's finished! XD

I built it with no W.E. (World Edit) however, many terraformers do use W.E. for this kind of thing. Here's a photopeach of the photos I've taken. I've also added some more pictures of terraforming, but I think these used W.E.

CutieKiwi's Creative- Cruise Ship!

Hi Minecrafters,
This week, I'm going to show you my Cruise Ship! I don't normally make vehicle type builds, but I tried! XD I've made certain rooms for different Crafters, and a special "CutieKiwi" suite, along with other random rooms. Anyways, I'm going to show you a picture tour of the ship. This is made with a photopeach rather than a video because it was taking ages to upload, but it still works! :P

CutieKiwi's Creative: Pixel Art!

Hi Minecrafters!

A few weeks ago, I posted about the School for Good and Evil build. This week, I'm posting about my pixel art which I made for it. Pixel art is a great tool in Minecraft and looks awesome. It takes a fairly long time, but it's worth it! Here's a picture of it:

Like it? Remember when making pixel art, one block equals to one pixel. You can change these dimensions, however, you have to be consistent with the scale throughout the whole of the pixel art.

Also, last week I posted a quiz on hard Minecraft trivia. I picked a username at random, and the winner this week is keazl! Because keazl did the quiz, keazl receives a novaskin wallpaper with the Crafters! Congratulations, keazl!

CutieKiwi's Creative- The School For Good And Evil!

Hi Minecrafters!

For the past few CutieKiwi's Creatives, I've been doing tutorials for a house, but now that we've finished the house, it's back to regular CutieKiwi's Creative!

As you probably know, I like to recreate scenes from movies and books. And so this week, I've been working on this. This is from a book called The School For Good and Evil. This is the school in Minecraft. I've selected special texture packs for each side, but you won't be able to see them in the picture. There's the school for Good, the school for Evil and in the middle, the School Master's tower. The photo is in the texture pack for the school for Good. This is built based on the first book. #1. Mikeland Creative

Okay, you guys ALREADY know how much I love this server, but that's because it's AWESOME! If you love Creative and making massive structures, or whether you like slaying zombies in PvE, this server is for you! 

#2. The Hive Minecraft

This server is an awesome minigames server. They have heaps of games, my favourite being Hide and Seek. They update regularly, and have awesome new games coming all the time!

#3. McMagic Disney

ip: mcmagic.us

This one's for all you disnerds (Disney Nerd) out there. Mc Magic Disney is a fun server where you can explore Minecraft Disney-themed structures. There are heaps of rides, hotels and worlds based on Disney! (My favourite's Frozen, if you hadn't guessed already! :P)

#4. Uberminecraft Minigames

This is another Minigames server, with a massive variety of games, including Cops & Robbers (my fave), SkyWars (Shine's fave) and Dwarves vs Zombies (one of Shine, vioper and my faves- especially when you don't know what to do! XD)

Okay, so if you don't have a 3D printer, this server has ABSOLUTELY NO use. But if you have access to one, this server is awesome! You build a structure, upload it to the website, and then print it out!

CutieKiwi's Creative- Build Comps

Hi guys,
Remember my post about Mikeland Crafters? Well, this week, I'm going to tell you about one of my favourite features of the server- Buildcomps!

Buildcomps are also known as Quickbuild, because you get a certain amount of time to create a themed build. The Crafters did a Quickbuild competition as well (see the post here), but on this server, there are prizes for the best build!

A few days ago, I competed in two Buildcomps on the server. The first one I did was themed "Under The Sea"- I made a big pink clam and came first equal. The second one I did was themed "Fantasy" and I made a giant rainbow unicorn and came second equal with the same person I came first equal with! :) The winner of the Fantasy comp created a mushroom forest and ruins of a building.

Buildcomps are super fun- try doing one with your friends!

CutieKiwi's Creative- MaKey MaKey Minecraft!

Hi Minecrafters,
About a year ago, I ordered a thing called a MaKey MaKey (which is similar to an Arduino). I love the MaKey MaKey, and one day had the idea to play Minecraft using it! GENIUS! :) Anyway, all you really need is a conductive material (e.g a coin), a MaKey MaKey & alligator clips, and or course, Minecraft.

First, connect the USB cable to your computer like you would normally. Then "connect it to Earth" by either holding an alligator clip, or attaching it to your skin somehow (The Crafters do not take any responsibility for injuries caused by clipping the alligator clips to your skin. :P) Then wire up the alligator clips from the conductive material to the MaKey MaKey's controls (use the same ones as your Minecraft controls......) and then you can play using the MaKey MaKey!

CutieKiwi's Creative- Camp Half Blood

I may not have an epic shapeshifting pen/ sword, but I do have a diamond sword.... maybe. This week, I'm going to give you a tour of Camp Half Blood.

I love the Percy Jackson series, so I decided to make a Camp Half Blood. I've made every single cabin (not exactly to the description, but I've tried!) including the minor gods- trust me, I've checked on the website! I've made it into a LAN world with my friends, and currently we play on survival, battling monsters using godly parent tailored weapons. Here is a photopeach to show you the Camp.

CutieKiwi's Creative- Mikeland Crafters

Hi Minecrafters,
This is a server I absolutely LOVE- we even share the same name (Crafters! :P)! This was originally called Mikeland Creative, but they recently merged it with another server (PvE). One thing I love about Mikeland is that it's a Creative server! You don't tend to get that much..... anyway, I have recently been playing PvE on it, and it was super fun with some friends!

 The name is Mikeland Crafters or just Crafters. The ip address is crafters.sheen.id.au:25565.  When it comes up on your server list, it should look like this.
