April Fools Update!

I am literally soooooooo sorry that I haven't posted in ages.

Anyways, recently it has been april fools day. Minecraft came up with an update for april fools day! Its really hilarious and I always look forward to these updates each year!

This year, minecraft came with the update where the whole minecraft world is 'love' theme.

The clouds are heart shaped!

                     

The water has hearts coming out of it!

Snow in the desert?

Horses can be put on your heads!

Creepers are soooo adorable!

You can only have one world.

And finally, theres heart swords!!!!!!

This is really awesome, and I hope mojang keep minecraft like this forever!

Shinekiwi's Quick Tips: Try Hive MC -- Deathrun!

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven't posted in AGES - I've been really busy. I just have time for a quick post, so what I wanted to say was, if you haven't tried the game Deathrun on Hive MC, you definitely should!
The IP address is play.hivemc.com, and Deathrun is kind of like a long version of a weird parkour. If you are a runner, then you have to run through all these traps that deaths can set off by pressing the button.

So give Deathrun a try! It's one of my favourite games.

Herro everyone!

So while I haven't posted in a while, I have still been busy working on the city on Mikeland! I also remember, that in one of my earlier posts, I promised to show you guys my hospital! Well, I never did, so what better time to show you it than RIGHT NOW?!?! Here is a photopeach of my hospital. I have done each individual room and made all the MRI machines etc., but unfortunately photopeach has a limit of 30 photos per video! So I'll show you some of the hospital wards and scan rooms etc. I'll also show you the ambulance parking, garden and children's playground! (Based off the East Cove playgrounds I built with CutieKiwi!) Please excuse the occasional bit of griefing... I don't know why that happened!

Hey Hey,

So sorry I haven't posted in a while, but life's REALLY busy right now. A few weeks back, as part of our city, we made giant statues of ourselves. These are of our current skins, although for some reason some of them haven't updated on our blog. Mimsy's one still has to be finished, so it's not in the screenshots, but I'm trying to build it currently, although it's kinda hard! And my version probably slightly incorrect...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while - life's a bit hectic at the moment! So anyway, a couple weeks ago, I built this little bakery for our city. I have to say, it's pretty cool! I'm also working on a hospital at the moment, and I'll keep you posted on that.

CutieKiwi, Kingzrule and Shinekiwi's Super Incredibly Awesome Creative - City!

Hey guys,

Shine here. So, we're ready for the first pics of our city - and remember, this is a work in progress.

So this week, we have the Rainbow Plaza (Cutie), The Shooting Star Apartments with Undersea Parking (Shine), and Airbus A380 by a friend and future crafter, CrusadersKiwi, and a cute little UFO (Kingz). We are building our city on the server Mikeland Creative, and the warp for our city is /warp Craftopolis. Craftopolis is what our city is now called! This city is built by Cutie's mall, which is going to be part of our city. This city is built floating on water, which just makes it even more super incredibly awesome!

Shinekiwi's Super Awesome Things to Build - MYSTERY HOUSE!!!!!!

Hey guys,

So the time has come for me to show you the finale for my houses chain, my mystery house! (Which I know you've all been hanging out for ! XD) Okay, so my mystery house is based on an image of a really cool house I found on the internet. I based it on this, but then I sort of took it further, and made it a Shinekiwi style house! (Kind of...) I designed a few things myself, such as the fence, the cars and some of the animal pens. Here is the image of the house I based it on:

You like it? I did. So anyway, the moment you've all been waiting for; the presentation of my mystery house!

Welcome to 1.8!!!!

Hey guys!

Don't know if your aware, but 1.8 is out!!!! After playing on it for the last week, here is a list of my favourite features!!!

Andesite, Diorite and Granite

This is amazing! These new kind of stones make life so much more interesting while mining! Plus, you can make great houses out of them. Sky and I have already made a house, and I made a castle with some of my non-crafter friends.

Rabbits

These little cuties really make my day! Seeing little bunny rabbits hopping along is soooo adorable! Good thing killing them doesn't give you anything amazing, I could never kill these things!!!

Ocean Temples

Although I have never conquered one of these on survival, I really want to. That is my goal on my new survival world, find an ocean temple and get a water-breathing armour so I can beat it!

Banners

Making castles got so much more interesting than these. They are sort of like flags. Plus, I've seen great designs of people making country flags! I want to make Hogwarts houses banners with these!

Armour Stands

They don't just look cool, they actually store your armour. Good if you don't want it to get damaged, and it's a nice display! A must have for every house, and easy to craft!

In conclusion, 1.8 is amazing! Thanks Jeb! Can't wait for new, amazing updates! Tell me what you think of it!

Shinekiwi's Quick Tip of the Week

Hey guys,

So the new update is out - 1.8 - YAY!!! Pretty exciting huh?! Well anyway, I'm still working on my mystery house for you guys, so here is my quick tip of the week, and it's great for you slightly lazier minecrafters out there:

Use a night vision potion so you don't have to set the time! ;)

This is great because you can just drink a potion that lasts for 8 minutes, and then you don't have to keep resetting the time - especially if you're building - because I know that that can be really annoying.
